Camp BGen. Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City, [07.03.18] – Life, Liberty and in pursuit of happiness using prohibited drugs has ended the five suspects in miseries and captivity as they face charges of violation of Section 5 of Article II of Republic Act 9165.

At least five persons were held for illegal drugs in three separate anti-illegal drugs operations conducted in the cities of Naga, Legazpi and in the municipality of Lagonoy in Camarines Sur.

According to Police Senior Inspector Malu C. Calubaquib, Police Regional Office – 5 Public Information Officer – five suspects are facing charges for violation of Section 5 of Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

The latest buy-bust operation was launched at 3:15 o’ clock in the morning, today in Barangay Burabod, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur against Janella Arlyn Obias y Rañola, 20 years old, single of Barangay Panday, Goa, Camarines Sur.

Elements of Lagonoy Municipal Police Station conducted the operation and arrested the subject person and led to the seizure of small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu”, one piece Php500.00 bill used as buy-bust money and one unit cellular phone.

Another successful anti-illegal drugs operation was implemented by the joint elements of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 2 Naga City Police Office at 12:30 o’ clock in the morning today.

The live-in partners, Catherine Cleofe y Silva, 30 years old of Pandacan, Manila and Felimar Jalameda y Dumaplin Jr, 27 years old of Imus, Cavite were nabbed inside the Tabuc Travel Lodge in Naga City.

One piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” was confiscated from the suspects after selling to a police poseur buyer in exchange for Php500.00.

Another buy-bust operation was launched on Monday evening by the elements of HPG, PIB-Albay, APMFC and Legazpi City Police Station and arrested the suspects at   11:55 o’ clock in the evening of July 2, 2018 inside theRawis Pension, Barangay 42-Rawis, Legazpi City.

The suspects were identified as Louie Escover y Lo, 37 years old, married of Barangay 24, Legazpi City and Jasser Samporna y De Mesa, 28 years old, married a drug surrenderer of Barangay Oro Site, Legazpi City.

One piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” was seized from the possession of one of the suspect.
