A broad daylight shooting incident challenges Sorsogon City police investigators crime solution efficiency to solve this latest daring broad daylight street murder.

shooting-incidentSorsogon City, [06.07.18] – A local tricycle driver in Barangay Almendras – Cogon, East District, Sorsogon City is the latest fatality of a broad daylight shooting incident this morning along Monsignor Jorge Barlin Street.

The victim Danilo Bautista Dolontara, 42, male tricycle driver shot by unidentified gunman at 6:50 o’ clock in the morning while standing infront of his house, according to Police Superintendent Edison A. Dumangas, Chief of Police Sorsogon City Police Station.

The gunman carrying a calibre .45 pistol clad in stripe t- shirt and wearing a short pants shot his trget and fled on board a red/black motorcycle who fled towards the direction of Barangay Balogo together with two unidentified male persons.

The victim was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician of the Peter and Paul Hospital due to multiple gunshot wounds.

SOCO Team led by Police chief Inspector J. M. Clemen processed the crime scene and found three pieces of cartridges for calibre .45 pistol, five pieces fired cartridges  of the same caliber.

Crime scene physical evidences gathered were under Sorsogon Police Crime Laboratory Office custody for ballistic examination.

A love triangle is being eyed by investigators as one of the possible motive to the crime.
