Another sibling of Victory Village North, Barangay 28 village chief arrested for illegal drugs, wife escaped, PDEA-Albay said.

Legazpi City, [05.23.18] – Another sibling of Punong Barangay Tony Loveriza of Barangay 28, Victory Village North was arrested early dawn today by agents of PDEA – Albay for violation of Republict Act 9165, while the wife has managed to slipped during the implementation of search warrant.

According to Lucero, the search warrant issued by Executive Judge Elmer Lanuzo against spouses Larry Loveriza and Nena Loveriza of Purok 2, Barangay 28, Victory Village North, Legazpi City was implemented at 12:06 o’ clock in the morning by the joint operatives from PDEA – Albay Provincial Office, Legazpi City Police Station and Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The team led by Agent Enrique G. Lucero, Albay Provincial Officer was under the supervision of IA5 Rogelito Daculla, PDEA – 5 Deputy Regional Director led to the seizure suspected illegal drugs [methampethamine hydrochloride] with an approximate weight of 50 grams and with an estimated street value of PhP300,000.00.
Arrested suspect is now in PDEA – 5, custody an appropriate charges for violation of Article II, Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 is being readied against the suspects.
The arrest of Larry Loveriza is the latest anti – illegal drugs campaign by PDEA, particularly against the Loveriza Drug Group who uses Barangay 28, Victory Village as their base of operation.
Last February 20, 2018 Salvacion Loveriza Ballarbare, the sister of Larry Loveriza and incumbent Barangay 28, Victory Village Punong Barangay Tony Loveriza together with Vicky Guzman y San Agustin, alyas Rhea of Caloocan City were also arrested by PDEA Team Albay for illegal drugs.
The search resulted to the confiscation of 13 plastic sachets of suspected methampethamine hydrochloride locally known as ‘shabu’ inside the house of Ballarbare while two pieces of plastic sachets of suspected ‘shabu’ from the possession of Guzman with an estimated amount of PhP 630,000.00.
While on April 21, 2018 Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Bicol launched a simultaneous anti illegal drugs raids against the five suspected drug personalities of Barangay 28, Victory Village North including the village treasurer.
PDEA operatives sezed a total of 31 plastic sachets of suspected methampethamine hydrochloride with an estimated street value of PhP864,000.00 from the Loveriza Drug Group.
