The parents of the victim will never see their son alive again as they will arrive today to hold a blow-out for their son’s graduation because Paul John took his own life – being left behind, they will just trying to relive those terrible moments and ask why?

Malilipot, Albay, [04.06.18] – The responding members of Malilipot Bureau of Fire Protection Emergency Medical Services team did not made it to revive the life of a drowning 27 years old on Thursday afternoon in the shoreline of Barangay Palali, Malilipot town.

According to Police Inspector Marcos Bea, Deputy Chief of Police of Malilipot Municipal Police Station, a local fisherman from Palale, Barangay San Isidro called Police Inspector Melvin M. Caño, Fire Inspector Joeres Rey V. Oyardo, Malilipot Fire Marshall and Senior Fire Officer 2 Antonio C. Chavenia, who were at the shore of Palale Brgy San Isidro Ilawod, Malilipot Albay and told them that an unconscious man is floating at the sea.

Inspector Oyardo activated Malilipot Bureau of Fire Protection Emergency Medical Services of this station and SFO2 Chavenia instantaneously borrowed a boat to be utilized for water rescue and retrieval, however, the victim did not survived despite the efforts made by the rescuers to save his life Bea Police Inspector Bea said.

Police case investigators concluded the incident was a suicide as they found a suicide note written in a notebook placed inside a bag of the victim.

The victim who was identified as Paul John Baugbog, 27 years old, student of Daniel B. Peña Memorial Foundation College is a resident of Bongga, Bacacay, Albay.
