Ligao City, [12.25.17] – A crime of murder with no bail recommended was filed against the 72 years old suspect in the death of PO3 Gaudencio Pabit y Nullan, yesterday, Police Superintendent Lea B. Supelana told The Philippine Examiner, this afternoon.

The case was filed against Alfredo Concepcion y Peñaflor, 72 years old, married and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Cavasi, Ligao City through Inquest Proceedings before the Ligao City Prosecutors Office on December 24 at 10:00 o’ clock in the morning, Police Superintendent Supelana said.

The charge was docketed under IS No. V- 03- INQ- 017L-00080 with No Bail recommended and was duly administered by Atty. Jorel C. Bornilla, Assistant City Prosecutor.

Concepcion was assisted by his legal counsel by Atty. Francisco F. Sadia of the Public Attorney’s Office [PAO] is still remain under the custody of this station while waiting for the commitment order.

Concepcion figured in an apparent road rage incident along the national highway in Barangay Binatagan, Ligao City last December 23 at 2:10 o’ clock in the afternoon.

The patrol officer P03 Gaudencio Pabit y Nullan, assigned at RHPU – 5 was fatally shot thrice by Concepcion on his chest died in hospital.

The septuagenarian was arrested by pursuing police officers after fleeing the crime scene on the same day.
