Legazpi City, [11.27.17] – Drunkeness and arguments has led to untimely deaths of two fishermen in Sitio Bantolinao, Barangay Amotag, Aroroy, Masbate on Sunday evening, a belated report reaching Camp Simeon A. Ola said.
According to Police Senior Inspector Malu C. Calubaquib, Police PRO -5 Public Information Officer the incident transpired at 8:00 o’ cock in the evening, quoting the Arroy police report.
The victims were identified as Garry Bulalacao y Gracio, 22 years old, single, fisherman and Bobby Guadalupe y Bulalacao, 15 years old, single, OSY, fisherman both residents of Sitio Bantolinao, Barangay Amotag, Aroroy, Masbate.
According to the witness account, allegedly Garry Bulalacao (victim) together with the suspect had drinking spree at the abovementioned place when the duo had heated arguments prompting the suspect to grab a bladed weapon (bolo) and hacked the victim hitting the latter at his head and neck that caused his instantaneous death.
Further, Bobby Guadalupe (victim) responded to his uncle (Garry Bulalacao) but also hacked by the suspect hitting the latter at the different parts of his body that caused his instantaneous death.
A hot pursuit was launched for the apprehension of the the 18 years old suspect; Brandon Juarez y Mallen who fled after the bloody fray.
