Another victim of an apparent summary execution in the municipality of Bulan, Sorsogon has claimed its third victim on Monday evening.

bulanBulan, Sorsogon, [09.05.17] – A farmer  from  Barangay Coco Cabitan, Bulan town and alleged NPA supporter was found dead at 7:40 o’ clock in a nearby bridge in the boundary of Barangays Aquino and Somagongsong on Monday evening.

The victim was identified as Vicente “JunJun” Escote, 40 years old of Barangay Coco Cabitan.

Bulan Municipal Councilor Recto G. Valeriano, chair of Committee on Peace and Order told The Philippine Examiner that the victim sustained an ice-pick stab wound and a gunshot shot wound on his head hogtied and blindfolded with a colored red cloth.

The body of the victim was positively identified by his friend found between the boundary of  was by his friend of is the third victim of killing in Barangay Somagongsong, Bulan, Sorsogon.

The body was brought to Pantaleon Gotladera Hospital but was declared dead by the physician.

Escote is the third victim of unsolved killings in Bulan, Sorsogon. Last August 29, Jerry Ginga y Lopez was shot inside his house in Barangay Somagongsong.

The village of Somagong has been a hotspot since August 24, when Senior Police Officer 1 Nestor Sanchez Austero was shot and killed while fetching his wife in Somagongsong Elementary School.
