Legazpi City, [08.07.17] – At least two persons on board on a motorcycles have died on Sunday in two separate incidents in Pamplona, Camarines Sur due to a sudden turns, a report reaching Camp Simeon A. Ola said.
The motorcycle driver [vehicle 1] Armando Bien y Avocado, 38 years old of Barangay San Isidro, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician of the Bicol Medical Center in Naga City.
His backrider, Antonio Madera y Bacurin, 48 years old of Camarines Norte sustained body injuries.
Police investigation revealed that the [Vehicle 2] a passenger jitney, driven by Jerome Luna y Bañas, 28 years old, single, a resident of Barangay Sta. Lucia, Magarao, Camarines Sur was turning left to an intersection when the vehicle 1 crashed on the bumper of the passenger jeepney.
Meanwhile, another fatal vehicular accident involving a Honda motorcycle and Starex Van has occurred at 5:30 o’ clock in the evening of August 6, 2017 in Zone 6, Barangay Salvacion, Pamplona, Camarines Sur.
An unidentified motorcycle driver of Honda motorcycle with plate number 1969 was travelling southbound direction and is executing a left turn and was accidentally bumped by Starex, which is running in the same direction.
The driver and its backriders fell on the road and sustained head and body injuries were rushed to Bicol Medical Center (BMC), in Naga City for medical treatment.
An unnamed female backrider died in the hospital.
The Starex Van bearing plate number ZRG – 501 driven by Nelson Juanillas y Pandes, 47 years old of Minalabac, Camarines Sur and the 28 years old jeepney driver are now under the custody of Pamplona Municipal Police Station.
