Tabaco City, [07.31.17] – The respondent in the tragic Sunday vehicular accident in Malinao, Albay that killed three persons has admitted guilt in the untimely deaths of his victims in the grisly road mishap, Acting Chief of Police of Malinao Municipal Police Station revealed on Monday.

Police Chief Inspector Virgil B. Bibat told reporters in Tabaco City this morning  that Jimmy Borlagdan y Anacleto, the driver of red Suzuki Ertiga has admitted his fault on reckless driving.

Police Chief Inspector Bibat has quoted Borlagdan during the media interview by Erwin Tumala in their radio program “Tok-Tok sa Konsensiya “over One Radio that the course of investigation he has owned his fault by admitting lack of sleep because they attended a wake in Tiwi over the week end.

The SUV driver was still reeking with liquor during the interrogation, Bibat explained.

The red sports utility vehicle has occupied the left lane of the road and rammed the black Honda motorcycle who was travelling towards the direction of Tiwi.

Borlagdan is bound for Tabaco City on Sunday afternoon when the accident occurred along Purok 1, Barangay Cabunturan, Malinao, Albay.

The three passengers of black Honda motorcycle identified as Pedro Clet y Cruzana of Brangay Libtong, Tiwi, Albay, Jose Cantor and a certain Cuentas perished in the accident.
