Five persons were arrested for illegal drugs in Relocation Site, Sitio Kangao, Purok 3, Barangay Quitago, Guinobatan, Albay, while another suspected drug pusher was also arrested in Binitayan, Daraga, Albay this afternoon.

guinobatanGuinobatan, Albay, [07.31.17] – A buy-bust operation against a suspect lady has led to the subsequent arrest of three more persons while having a pot- session – had she did not tried to run inside her house this afternoon in,  Relocation Site, Sitio Kangao, Purok 3, Barangay Quitago, Guinobatan, Albay.

Albay Police Provincial Office Public Information Officer, Police Chief Inspector Arthur R. Gomez told the Philippine Examiner this afternoon.

According to PCI Gomez a buy-bust operation was implemented by Guinobatan Municipal Police Station at around 1:40 o’ clock in the afternoon in Relocation Site, Sitio Kangao, Purok 3, Barangay Quitago.

The 29 years old suspect, Jean Rivera y Melendres was entrapped, by a police poseur buyer identified as Police Officer 1 Norie B. Palencia after selling one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet s of uspected shabu. Rivera attempted to run inside towards her house during the arrest but was apprehended. When she was cornered inside her residence, police was able to discover the presence of three male persons who were having a pot session inside.

They were identified as Jimmy Rodriguez y Guanzon, 31 years old, Boyet Pableo y Rayala, 31 years old and Antonio Pableo, Jr y Nuyles, 28, single, all residents of Sitio Kangao, Purok 3, Barangay Quitago.

Authorities has confiscated items from the possession and control of Rivera were the following items, such as; pink wallet, buy-bust money, two  medium size transparent plastic sachets suspected shabu, 13 empty transparent plastic sachets and one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu.

Inside the bedroom where the pot session was being held,  two improvised aluminum tooters, aluminum foil with suspected shabu residue, stainless needle, orange disposable lighter, scissors and  two mobile phones.

The arrested suspects are now in police custody.

Meantime, elements of Daraga Municipal Poice Station led by Police Chief Inspector Nicanor M. Aycocho arrested Edgar Mendez y Bumalay by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Honorable Frank E. Lobrigo, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 3, Legazpi City.

The suspect was charged for Violation of Section 5, Article II, Republic Act 9165 under Criminal Case Number 14198 with no bail recommended.
