Legazpi City, [07.15.17] – A government employee in Libmanan town is the latest additional digit in the death statistic of the government’s drive against illegal drugs, while four other suspects were simultaneously nabbed by police in three municipalities in Camarines Sur on Friday, a report reaching Camp Simeon A. Ola said.
Elements of Provincial Intelligence Branch/Provincial Drug Eenforcement Unit of Camarines Police Provincial Office and Libmanan Municipal Police Station led by Police Superintendent Ruben D. Padua conducted a buy-bust against the victim at 4:50 PM, July 14, 2017 in Barangay Bahay, Libmanan, Camarines Sur.
The operation has resulted in the death of the suspect after allegedly drawing his gun, aimed to one of the operative, squeezed the trigger several times, prompting the operatives to shoot him, a sketchy report said.
Osing is said to be a security aide detailed to Libmanan Vice Mayor
Rommel Bulaong, another higly placed source said.
He is the latest drug personality killed in a police buy-bust operation in Camarines Sur.
Meanwhile, a male suspect identified as Michael Anthony Japa y Cortez, 25 years old was arrested at 8:00 o’ clock in the evening of July 14, 2017 I Barangay IlI – Centro, Caramoan, Camarines Sur.
Four pieces sachets of suspected shabu and Php500.00 used as buy-bust money was confiscated from the suspect.
At 5:00 o’ clock in the afternoon of July 14, 2017, Antonio Ambait y Tuazon, 31 years old, single, resident of Zone-1, Barangay San Marcos, Camaligan, Camarines Sur and Jaypee Manalang y Manansala, 31 years old, Single, resident of Zone-1, Barangay San Marcos, Camaligan, Camarines Sur were nabbed in a pot session
Confiscated items during the said operation were one lighter, used aluminum foil, tooter; unsealed sachets containing traces of suspected as shabu.
While at 3:30 o’ clock of July 14, 2017 in Zone 3, Barangay Taban, Minalabac, Camarines Sur, a suspect identified a Benjamin Delos Santos Jr y Lavandero, 38 years old was apprehended.
The 38 years old welder was held in a buy-bust operation that resulted in his arrest and confiscation of PhP500.00 used as buy-bust money, and three pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and one piece of band aid plastic strip.
