Legazpi City, [04.12.17] – The Special Investigation Task Force Ravanilla was formed by Sorsogon Philippine National Police to handle the investigation to the killing of Sorsogon Board member Pedro A. Ravanilla, Police Senior Superintendent Ronaldo R. Cabral, told the media on Tuesday evening.

“I am heading the investigation on the murder of late Board member Ravanilla and we had already provided security to the family,” the Sorsogon Police Provincial Director told the local media during the press conference inside Camp Ola.

Cabral told that they had established theory to the crime, based on the initial investigation conducted with unnamed informants, he admitted.

However, he declined to explain the details, as police investigation is still ongoing.

In the same vein, Cabral also confirmed the PhP100,000.00 reward money was offered by Sorsogon Governer Robert A. Rodrigueza Lee to informant that could provide information of the gunman.

Pedro Alindogan Ravanilla, 54 years old, married, Board Member 1st District, Sorsogon was killed infront of their own building in Maharlika Highway Barangay  Pangpang, Sorsogon City at 8:50 o’ clock in the morning of April 11, 2017.

He died on the spot due to fatal wounds on his head.
