Tabaco City, [03.06.17] – At least six persons had died yesterday afternoon in a vehicular accident along the national highway between the boundary of Barangay Estancia, Malinao, Albay and Barangay Quinastillojan, Tabaco City, police report said.
The gory accident occurred at 2:30 in the afternoon of March 5, 2017 after a trailer truck hit a SYM single motorcycle bearing plate no. EA – 28972 before smashing the residential area along the road.
Police investigation revealed that the truck was traveling from Ligao City to Tabaco City and upon reaching the place of incident, the ill-fated truck loaded with metal sheets accidentally rammed on the row of houses including a single motorcycle.
The SYM motorcycle driver Albert Baroga y Begino together with his two backriders Jasmine Boringot y Hanolan, legal age married and and Clark Camiro, 6 years old all residents of Barangay Bulang, Malinao, Albay, died on the spot.
The trailer truck with plate number BUF 792 driven by a certain Orlando Campo y Banadera,49 yrs old of Purok 1, Del Rosario, Naga City with his two truck helpers Rommel Nantes y Mendinilia, 27 yrs old of Camalig, Albay and James Romero y Lopez of Purok 3, Palanog, Camalig, Albay has suffered multiple injuries.
They were rescued and were brought to Ziga District Memorial Hospital but were was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
The three survivors who were injured were identified as Jason Bonganay y Almonte, 28 years old, single, Daniel Bonganay y Serrano, 57 years old, married and Jeffrey Bonganay y Almonte, 32 years old, single all residents of Purok 1 Quinastillojan, Tabaco City were brought to Ziga District Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
