Legazpi City, [02.26.17] – A combine elements of the Regional Intelligence Unit -5, Regional Intelligence Unit – 4A, Albay Provincial Public Safety Company, Quezon Police Intelligence Branch, Tiaong Municipal Police Station and Guinobatan Municipal Police Station has arrested a suspected Number 6 Quezon Provincial Most Wanted Person today, police report reaching Camp Simeon A. Ola said.
Police Senior Inspector Arthur R. Gomez, Spokesperson of Albay Provincial Police Office identified the suspect as Pablito Marasigan y Alcajero, 54 years old, married, resident of Sitio Gaboc, Barangay Upper Binogsacan, Guinobatan, Albay.
“He was arrested today at 4:30 o’ clock in the morning at his residence by joint team led by Police Chief Inspector Maria Cecilia R. Zuñiga and Police Inspector Edison F. Mabaet of Guinobatan Municipal Police Station and Albay Provincial Public Safety Company, respectively together with Regional Intelligence Unit -5 led by Senior Police Officer 1 Albert DL Bernarte, Regional Intelligence Unit – 4A [RIU-4A] led by Senior Police Officer 3 George Tendencia, Tiaong Municipal Police Station led by Police Chief Inspector Alvin Consolacion and Quezon Police Intellice Branch”, PSI Gomez said.
The arrested person is a number 1 priority target list on Lambat Sibat with a standing warrant of arrest for murder with criminal case number 2003-94 dated May 7, 2004 issued by Honorable Stephen C. Cruz, Judge Regional Trial Court, Branch 60, Lucena City.
Upon verification with RIU-5 and RIU-4A personnel, the suspect was discovered to be listed as number 6 provincial most wanted person of Quezon Police Provincial Office, Gomez explained.
The arrested person was appraised of his constitutional rights, medically examined at Josefina Belmonte Duran Memorial District Hospital in Ligao City and presently under custodial facility of Guinobatan Municipal Police Station.
