Tabaco City [09.05.16] – An implementation of a search warrant conducted by the police operatives by the Tabaco City Police Station last August 30, 2016 has ended the nefarious career of a suspected drug pusher in Tabaco City in an alleged shoot out, police report said.
In a report submitted by the Officer-in-Charge of Tabaco City Police Station to the Albay Police Provincial Office dated September 5, 2016, a suspected drug personality was killed after engaging in a shootout with the police.
According to the report by Police Superintendent Allan O. Ramos, OIC Tabaco City Police Station, police operative led by Police Chief Inspector Darwin A. Asejo, Intelligence Officer has implemented Search Warrant Number T-2016 – 167 issued by Honorable Judge Alben C. Rabe Regional Trial Court, Branch 15, Tabaco City against Marcial Bueno Bufi and Michael Bueno Bufi in Purok 3, Pawa, Tabaco City has led to the death of a certain Marcial Bueno Bufi.
Upon the arrival of the operatives at the residence of Bufi to implement the Search Warrant on violation of Republic Act 9165, Marcial ran towards the back of their residence and tried tried to break the fence.
A brief chase ensued and the suspect allegedly retaliated and fired at the responding police officers which resulted to the wounding of the victim.
Marcial Bueno Bufi was brought to Ziga Meorial Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The searching team has recovered from the suspect one revolver of unknown caliber, four pieces of live ammunitions were also recovered inside the left pocket of the victim, two fired cartriges and three unfired cartridges.
Three improvised lighters, with one aluminum foil attached to one of the lighter, one metal toother, one piece surgical scissor, nine pieces strip/rolled aluminum foils, five pieces of different sizes of plastic heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu were also confiscated.
Marcial Bueno Bufi was the second suspected drug personality in Tabaco City who died since the implementation of anti-illegal drug operation in Tabaco City.
