Legazpi City, [09.10.18] – The village head of Barangay 7, Daet Camarines Norte was pronounced dead by  the attending physicians of Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital, Daet, while the head of the Department of Interior and Local Government of Daet, Camarines Norte was hospitalized for injuries on his lower extremities, a police report reaching Camp BGeneral Simeon A. Ola today.

According to the Police Regional Office-5 Regional Public Information head Police Chief Inspector Maria Luisa C. Calubaquib the fatal accident has transpired along the national highway in Barangay Daguit, Labo, Camarines Norte at 5:00 o’ clock this morning.

According to the police report, the victims were on board on a Montero Sport with plate SKN 213 was on its way to Daet, Camarines Norte accidentally smashed on a tree near along the national highway.

Punong Barangay Ramon Abaño y Macabuhay was declared dead on arrival at Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital, Daet, Camarines Norte by the attending physicians while Ronnel Dumasig sustained injuries in his lower extremities and presently confined at Leon Hernandez Hospital, Daet, Camarines Norte.

The 46 years old Abaño is the Punong Barangay of Barangay. 7 while Ronnel Dumasig y Gabad, 40 years old is the current Chief DILG-Daet and a resident of Ecology Village, Barangay Gubat, Daet

Other passengers identified in the report are Edwin Ferrer, a Punong Barangay and a resident of Barangay 2, Rosito Panotes, Punong Barangay of Barangay Borabod and Nicanor Paliza, a driver and Punong of Barangay Pamorangon, Daet, Camarines Norte were unhurt in the accident.
