The Senate Committee of the Public Order headed by foundling senator is creating another public discourse on the intention of the re-opening of a senate hearing on the Mamasapano encounter.

Thinking Filipinos are feeling cynical on the reopening of the hearing because of the senate’s earlier failure to ferret out the truth – and prosecuting the accountable persons in committing a reckless police operation which has resulted to the deaths of over 60 people, including 44 elite police officers and at least 17 fighters of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
