A “THOMAS IN OUR TIMES” (Baseless doubts is with no faith)

By:Romy Bermundo

“The other disciples, therefore, send unto him, we have seen the Lord, but He said unto them, except shall I see in His Hands, the print of the nails, and put my fingers into the print of the nails and thrust my hands into His side, I will not believe.” John 20:25

This refers to Thomas the doubt who is a reflection of a modern time worn-out saying of men that thus, “to see is to believe.” and rely not to understand the situation, conditions, and naturality to trust unless it has been caught up by the eyesight.

But be reminded that, “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,”Hebrew 11:1

“Meanness is incurable; it can’t be cured by old age or by anything

else ” Aristotle.

But what if a store guard checks the ins and outs of persons after buying stuff, and is somewhat mistrustful to anybody else?

It’s their policy, discretion, and part of their business security that can’t be questioned in their properties, we are customers, contrariwise there are honest stores with no personnel and it’s up to our moral correctness to take and pay or the otherwise.

Moreover, the intense sunlight brought a man to cool down in an adjacent five-star Hotel and Restaurant after his lawn tennis routine however, “stop, you’re sweaty and in shorts on and aren’t allowed inside,” a new guard barred his arm against the man. Then suddenly, “Sir, your garments are at your office please,” as an employee greeted the man, the owner.

Weren’t here to judge others so we’re not going to be judged and not within our capacity to read what’s exactly in their minds, and free oneself from uncertainties but settle with the truth.

And if in doubt, then ask or seek the veracity of the things to be cleared.

Incredulity is the uneasiness of anyone’s mind from something

and someone. And this can lead to serious medical conditions.

An unfounded skeptical attitude confidently towards someone or something is insanity.

And yes it happens.

Don’t let the devil enter the door for negative thoughts like doubt which leads you to perversion.

Before you take off the muck on others, purify yourself from stains.

In other words, it is cleansed from unwanted sundries and opts for strong Spiritual health.

Append, MODESTY.

So, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed; for I Am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Meditate on this: “God will never direct us to be prideful, arrogant and unforgiving, immoral or slothful or full of fear. We step into these things because we are insensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit within us ” Charles Stanley.

“A STRONGER INNER SENSE”

(Not until there’s a stony heart)

By: Romy Bermundo

“Maturity doesn’t mean age. It means sensitivity, manners, and how you react.” -Unknown

People might appreciate things differently resulting in various

opinions and perspectives according to what they conceived.

And because of the diverse lineage, culture, spirituality, tradition, and the arts, communication, technology, and more, make up the distinction of an individual in character from others’ attitudes and morals.

However, the undisputed Spiritual and scientific truth showed that in the history of humanity and through technological advances and digital society, the established morals never transformed.

But only when we’re faithful to a Supreme Being who created the virtuous life.

We have opinions, however, there’s a right and precise opinion from the databases and facts available.

Few lived half a normal to the moral standards thereby creating various issues to the extent that one can’t be at ease anywhere- in their dwellings or even when socializing and is restless and sleepless.

Then, meander off from your comfort quarter to a pro-nature rendezvous which can’t be displaced from the felicity of the heart mingling to the sounds of nature’s music in the wilderness with dancing daffodils amidst the bustling urban cyberspace and is far better than synthetic medicines to cure anguished and hold the bliss of solitude.

Truly, the mountains are the biggest playground in the world.

One can leave from desolation brought by senseless and distraughtly attitudes caused by the inevitable association with others considering that your well-being matters foremost.

Silence and solitude lead to serenity and happiness and treasure what you have and what you are now because tomorrow is not promised.

Never tolerate the worrying mind, rather seek and create oneself a ravishment to anywhere on anyone and ultimately have Peace in ethereal Nature and estranged from immorality.

And in the end, we don’t want to be like a faceless, heartless, and mindless person either, NO, and never will.

And believe that, “Grace be with you, mercy and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.” 2 John 1: 3

Have a fruitful Holiday!

“DROP IN YOUTHFUL”

(Time after time real-life drama)

By: Romy Bermundo

“In youth, we learn; in age we understand.” Marie Von Ebner Eschenbach

The Youthful roll by the immaturity and forgone and it skipped as the years missed.

“You’re sustained for two hours of skin depuration!,” as an angry whoops of an oldster perceived to possess wisdom.

“And before the School Holidays break Convention shall be soon, and we’re late to catch up the thirty-minute ride,” as she was exasperated.

“Notwithstanding to scrub out and clean your skin, but the earth body prevails upon, and remember that colloquial, “from dust to dust, no matter what elixir you take and how sweet smell you’ve sprayed.”

An everyday scene of impatient old screaming after the sluggish young and well-kept daughter.

“But your outward personality is of less value to the goodness of the heart.”

“Dear, verily I say unto you that righteousness is of God’s appeasement, and is lawful in Him, and a command to follow,” she explained.

Forget not that thus, “his bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.” Job 20:11

And things that have been done, can’t be undone but to have a fresh start all over again and things happen not by luck or chance but it’s industry and hard work.

Meanwhile, she’s regretful of her fate of marrying at a tender age to an irresponsible partner and can’t ever leave her three elementary school children but disclose her resentment to her mother.

The dejection is after the consequences are brought to pass and as always, the grief happens when one is negligible to the moral values imprinted by the parents as if your heydays wouldn’t last.

And finally, relinquish the vanished period of your life and shape the better future, learn to wait and be patient for the perfect time of the Lord.

Remember that, “both riches and honor come to thee, and thou reignest over all, and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and give strength unto all.” 1 Chronicles 29:12

“Your mental health is everything it, make the time like your life depends on it because it does.”-Mel Robbins

It was a “Noche de Paz,” when a sudden sound of crashing waves of something fell from the miniature display that became the major subject to ask repeatedly everyone if it was intentionally taken.

Mistrustful of people when a yell of, “stop” from his wife, “you presumed to be robbed,” when the truth is the contrary.

Sometimes he opened the faucets in the comfort room and left them, and water spilled.

And like the prisoner, every day and everyone is monitored.

Doubtful to other fellows!

These are the characteristics of a person with mental issues, being dubious of persons, places, things even situations.

Furthermore, there are mannerisms so annoying.

And He cares not, as if it’s okay with the others.

Hard to deal with and live with someone who has mental issues

He projects that he is perfect in characters, mode, personality, moral values, and doings when in fact it’s the reverse.

And assume that his ideas are better than the others, which oftentimes results in flattery.

Creating his own problems without logical reasons, and unceasing repetitive murmuring.

On the other side, she never adheres to all of these instead showing the proper attitude towards dealing with the situations and other persons may lead her husband to better ways to be with and even on how things should be done in God-perfect ways, which she tried hard to accomplish.

Never forget that “true greatness comes as a willingness to sacrifice for others.”-Chuck Swindoll

Moreover, the compassion left him, but her wife didn’t expect to make her special, but no and never will, in any way.

Why can many bear the extreme pain silently and few squeals to the top of their voices, that’s so infuriating.

Stupidity and foolishness abound in him however she never complained of her fate while love is all she knew without hatred and anger.

This is a real-life drama that is being treasured by her instead of material possessions.

A Calvary turned into earthly compassion and getting along well with the others rather than of regretting it.

Happiness is her choice rather than annoyance and it’s a personal decisive action.

No scientific facts about knowing what’s inside one’s mind and feeling but own self and ultimately, God sees every heart.

The choices are yours, to keep calm in the storm and to get off the regret of the destruction after and fix things broken and be happy while you hold the pen as to how your story be lined.

Remember to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.”-Proverbs 3:5

A HARD TRUTH

 (As observed by Pay Juan)

By: Romy Bermundo

“I have not failed, I’ve just found ten thousand times that won’t work.”-Thomas Edison

“Thomas Edison was credited with the inventions of the carbon telephone transmitter, the light bulb, and the phonograph. It took him one thousand unsuccessful attempts before He created the first light bulb.

“You really can learn as much from failure as you do success.”

Frequently the instances of failure come from deep within us that we ignore everything has an end. Love, richness, passion, stuff we work hard for and possess, and all you can think of and even LIFE. Nothing stays the same, but changes.

And glad seeing your remains but ignoring your existence!

Much to enjoy their play cards, mahjong, talk-a-tale with the others and more, than giving you a fancy glance you never wished for.

The hardest truth and difficult to accept especially when our family, relatives, and friends see us as invaluable just like frozen particles packed together- so undesirable and real.

Everyone leaves but strives to be happy alone, after all, one knows when to be with others.

Indefinite the path we walk and God redirects us to the straight up down, for He sees the beyond.

Finally, one failed to come up with the rightful ways to deal and mingle with fellows but disappoints those who expect more than gaining, but less of everything they received.

“For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, our consolation also aboundeth in Christ.”-2 Corinthians 1:5
